Gunnison Country Food Pantry

Good Samaritan has designated the Gunnison Country Food Pantry as a mission partner. Good Samaritan sponsors the Fresh Mobile Pantry, visiting our most in need neighbors every Saturday from May - Oct. This is a great way to follow in the footsteps of Jesus as we “seek and serve Christ in all persons.” We have opportunities for volunteer work, donations, and financial support. All are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishables to our donation station in the Narthex.  For more information on volunteer opportunities, contact Dave Sleightholm.

Project Hope

We support Project Hope through sponsoring a table at their annual Stand With Me lunch. We also provide “needs and wants” of Project Hope clients during the Holiday Season.

Discretionary Fund

The Discretionary Fund enables the Church to respond immediately to community needs.  We can offer housing for transients, food to those who are hungry, gas and bus tickets to those traveling, assistance with utilities, and other emergency needs. We are able to help and to keep those who receive help anonymous. All gifts are appreciated, and every little bit helps. Contact Rev. Laura for more information.
