Sunday School
Our Sunday school meets during the Liturgy of the Word and Sermon portion of our Eucharist. Children, pre-school through 5th grade, meet together to learn and teach each other through lectionary bible studies that follow the themes their parents hear during the service. Our curriculum is based on the Episcopal church’s “Lesson Plans that Work,” Building Faith Brick by Brick by Emily Slichtner Given, Godly Play created by Jerome Berryman, and Love First: A children’s ministry for the whole church by Colette Potts and Amy Cook. Sunday school includes a bible story and activities that help imbed the gospel message into our children’s play and lives.
We are meeting the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 9:00 am during the Liturgy of the Word.
